Conditions We Treat

People have called it by many names: subluxations, misalignments, segmental dysfunction. Either way damage to a joint or vertebra can put pressure on a nerve, which then can cause pain, numbness, or dysfunction in the way the nerve transmits signals. With our spinal adjustments, we can help those nerves function better. The bigger picture is that those nerves are attached to everything in the body.

Low Back Pain

•31 million Americans experience low-back pain at any given time.
•One-half of all working Americans admit to having back pain symptoms each year
•Back pain is one of the most common reasons for missed work.  In fact, back pain is the second most common reason for visits to the doctor’s office, outnumbered only by upper-respiratory infections.
•Americans spend at least $50 billion each year on back pain—and that’s just for the more easily identified costs.
•Experts estimate that as many as 80% of the population will experience a back problem at some time in our lives
•Does this sound like something you want to be a part of?
There could be a hundred reasons why your low back can hurt. We will find out if your problem is a chiropractic one, and if it is we will give you a way to take care of it. If it is not a chiropractic problem, we’ll send you to the right place.

Neck Pain

Are you constantly rubbing at your neck? Is the neck pain even causing headaches? Constant neck pain is a sign of something more significant going on in the spine. The nerves from the cervical spine also go to the eyes, the nose, the sinuses, and the ears. So many people may have neck problems rather than chronic sinus problems. You never know until you get it checked out.

Nerve Entrapments

Tingling in the arm sounds like fun, but after awhile the fun turns to annoying. Annoying turns to painful. Arms, fingers, legs going numb, it’s a sign that a nerve is compressed. Examples of nerve entrapments are carpal tunnel, cubital tunnel, sciatica are all examples. Many people have surgery on their wrists to relieve their carpal tunnel symptoms, however, some of these surgeries fail. This is due to the fact that nerves that go to the hand start in the neck, pass through the vertebra of the cervical spine, travel through a series of muscles and ligaments in the shoulder and arm, pass through the wrist and then goes into the hand. Nerve compression may be at any of these points. With Chiropractic and Active Release Techniques we may be able to free the nerve and let it communicate freely.

Pregnancy Related Pain

Many people ask us if it’s ok to see a chiropractor when you’re pregnant. The answer is usually yes, but it depends on the patient.
